Now Hiring Mechanic

Capital City Construction, Inc. is looking for an experienced mechanic that is skilled in working on and troubleshooting construction equipment including (but not limited to) small hand tools, gas powered equipment, backhoes, trucks, trailers, etcetera. Responsibilities include: repairing and maintaining a fleet of vehicles and equipment, performing shop management functions such as maintenance scheduling and spare parts inventory control, completing timecards and turning in receipts. Work will be performed in a shop and on the jobsite.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of construction equipment, an understanding of safe job practices for repairing equipment, and exhibit teamwork, verbal, and written skills. Physical requirements include the ability to lift a maximum of 75 pounds and the ability to stoop, bend, climb, and crawl without restrictions. Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol screening.
