Selling my 1972 Yamaha XS 650. It has had a lot of work completed recently and runs and looks fantastic. You may notice it has a drum brake on the front and thats the way I bought it, to be honest I think it looks better than the stock disc brake that started being used on the 1972 models.

This is a very nice XS 650 in very good shape. Bike runs and shifts as it should. Ill list everything about this bike as best as I can:

Carbs thoroughly cleaned and new kits installed including plungers, valves adjusted Compression 120-125 each cylinder cold. The following parts have all been replaced with new: front and rear brakes, fork gators, air filters, plugs, grips, Dunlop tires, switch covers and throttle cables. As well the seat pan is like new and the foam was just recently replaced.

The headlight bucket has been scratched at one point but other than that is in perfect condition with no dents whatsoever.

I am quite anxious to move this bike as I have another vehicle coming and I need more room. Having said that Im not going to give this bike away but will look at all reasonable offers and do what I can to work with you to reach a suitable agreement. As this bike is located in Canada I have researched what is required to bring this bike across the border and all motorcycles older than 20 years simply need a bill of sale from the seller. I am located 60 miles from the North Dakota border and could possible meet someone at the Canadian side of the Boissevain border crossing.

If you wish to discuss please contact me. Asking $6100.00 U.S. I will assist with shipping if I can, and could store until delivery can be arranged.
