Editing Photo File Type

If your image is not in the proper file format or size you can edit the image to make it more compatible with our system. You can do these editing options in most photo editing programs but we will show you how to do so in Windows Paint program as this is the most accessible to the majority of users.

If you are experiencing an error message such as "Invalid Function Name" , long load time or another error message when trying to upload a photo click here to determine what is wrong with the image you are trying to upload.

If you have determined that the problem with your photo is the file format continue with the instructions below.

Right click on the image and choose Open With>Paint

All you need to do is resave the image in a .jpg format. To do so just click in File in the menu bar and Save as...

Then choose JPEG or .jpg as the "Save as type". Then click save. You may want to rename the photo if you want to save your original format. It is also important to know where you are saving the file so you can find it again when trying to upload it to your ad.

Your image should now be in a compatible format and you should be able to upload it to your ad.
