Handgun ammo and training available

If you're a handgun owner, you know ammunition has been in critically short supply.  Good news...CCW Academy has thousands of rounds available for 38 Special+P, 40, 45, and 380 caliber handguns at their upcoming training.  Students will get priority if ammunition run short, but you can pick rounds up at the training locations even if you are not a student this time.

Home defense and handgun specialty training courses start 6/17/09 in Fargo, and 6/24/09 in Bismarck.  Click on this link for more information, and to sign up.

These are some of the things students who have taken the CCW training classes have said:

Tom M. from Reno, NV says:

I participated in the Laser Firearms Training Simulator class on 1/13/09.  It was a lot of fun to practice with a real gun (Glock or 1911) without having to reload clips all the time.  The Laser Firearms Training Simulator can simulate almost any shot situation from stationary to moving, from large targets to small, from any distance and much more. Rick offered training tips and techniques on stance, grip, sighting, and breathing that improved my shot pattern considerably.  By the end of the evening I felt more confident using the weapon and using it correctly.  The Laser Firearms Training Simulator class is an easy and cost effective (saving $$$ on ammo) way to practice in a comfortable environment.  I highly recommend this class and will taking it again.  Check the Laser Simulator Skill's Practice Schedule for upcoming dates... and bring a friend.

Jim & Ruth from Honolulu, Hawaii say:

We took Rick's class this past Saturday, Dec. 27 with our son and daughter-in- law who live in Reno, while we were visting for christmas.  What a great class for anyone who not only wants to carry a concealed weapon, but who wants to learn more about firearms in general!  Rick's attitude was very accepting to everyone and everything -- not intimidating to the ladies in any way -- like taking a gun class with a bunch of guys might be if NOT taught by Rick.  We thoroughly enjoyed the whole class experience even though we had never fired a revolver before this class.  Thanks, Rick, for your gentle handling!

Tim D. from Bismarck ND says:

Rick has a common sense  approach to defending yourself and your family if you get in a dangerous situation.  Like any training, the time to do it is before you find yourself in that position.  If you want to know what to do to protect your family, what not to do, and how to do it, I highly recommend this training.
