How to Create a Garage Sale Map on BisManOnline
With Garage Sale Weekend in full force and nearly 500 garage sales listed on BisManOnline, we thought we would show you how you can easily create a map of the garage sales and print them out.
For starters, once you are in the Rummage Sales category, you will see the orange links on the left hand side of the page listing specific cities.
Select the city you wish to search in:
Once you select a city (we selected Bismarck) - The screen will refresh and you will be presented with a list of "Regions" within that city.
In Bismarck, we have
Central - NE
Central - NW
Central - SE
Central - SW
NE
NW
Rural - NE
Rural - NW
Rural - SE
SE
SW
Select one of these regions to filter your results further:
Notice that when you hover your mouse over each link, the specific area of the region will pop-up (see the photo below)
After selecting your region, the list of ads will be filtered for that area. To create your map, click on the "Map" icon (see red-arrow in photo below)
Once the map has appeared, you may zoom in to center it and bring the icons closer. Each icon represents an ad, and each ad is listed below the print-out on the page.
Click the "Print This Map" button to get a printable version.
(Note: The map is only as accurate as the information provided by the ad poster. If they include incorrect address information, the icon may not be placed in the correct portion of the map)
