Join Our Team as an Equipment Repair and Installation Technician!

Are you passionate about hands-on mechanical work and problem-solving? HOBBS Incorporated, located in Mandan, ND, is seeking a dedicated Equipment Repair and Installation Technician to become an integral part of our growing team. As an Equipment Repair and Installation Technician, you will travel to various customer locations, providing expert troubleshooting, installation, repair, and maintenance services for petroleum equipment, including fuel dispensers, pumps, monitoring systems, and product piping.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform installation, upgrades, servicing, and maintenance of petroleum equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.

Identify and repair leaks or damaged components, and troubleshoot electronic or mechanical issues.

Conduct visual inspections of fueling components, addressing potential problems promptly.

Collaborate with store staff, reviewing documentation and performing meter calibration as needed.

Adhere to safety practices and procedures in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, and company guidelines.

Utilize testing devices and a variety of hand and power tools, maintaining equipment for safe and effective operation.

Represent HOBBS Incorporated professionally in all customer interactions, demonstrating expert knowledge and professionalism.

Demonstrate proper and safe usage of all company equipment, fostering a culture of safety.

Skills and Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent; strong mechanical aptitude required.

Computer and electrical experience are advantageous.

Previous experience with petroleum equipment helpful but not required, pay depends on experience and relevant background.

Ability to stand for extended periods, lift over 70 lbs. occasionally, and work in various climates and confined spaces.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Willingness to travel and work overnights as needed.

Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required.
