Reason Selling: "Need a powershift"
1975 John Deere 4230
Very nice and clean tractor. I've owned it for 2 years. I bought it from a gentleman that bought it in 1984 from his uncle, I believe. Have all the maintenance records from 1984(about 4770 hours) till today. Has 10,402 hours on right now. Diesel, 8spd Syncro transmission, 3point, 540/1000 pto, 2 hydraulics that were just rebuilt and converted to pioneer tips last spring. New a/c last spring. Was repainted in the 90s and stored inside ever since. Uses no oil, everything works as it should, interior very nice, installed LED lighting last spring. NEVER had a loader or seen a feed wagon. Last two years it was used for the v-rake and sickle mower. Prior to me it was in the red river valley and used on a fertilizer spreader and a 6 row corn planter. Very nice and handy tractor. ONLY reason for selling is my 10 yr old son has a hard time pushing in the clutch and shifting. You'll drive your wheels off finding a nicer one. Only thing I have negative to say, as many 30 series are, it's fairly cold blooded for starting. $19,000.
