1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 You have just found a first-class Z28 with all the right ingredients. This exceptional 1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z28, finished in striking Cranberry Red over a crisp black bucket-seat interior, has undergone a complete, high-end rotisserie restoration and presents at a true show-quality level throughout. Under the hood sits the legendary 350 LT1 V8, rated at approximately 360 horsepower, paired with the M-40 automatic transmission. It delivers the combination that made the Z28 one of Chevrolet's most celebrated performance cars of the era, with the unmistakable character of a high-revving small-block wrapped in one of the most recognizable shapes of the muscle-car era. This Camaro is loaded with the performance hardware you'd want in a serious Z28. Power steering makes it considerably more enjoyable on the street, while front disc brakes provide confident stopping power. The 12-bolt Positraction rear axle puts the LT1's power to the pavement, and the F-41 suspension package adds the handling hardware worthy of the Z28 badge. Due to its solid lifter and high-revving cam, air conditioning was not available on the Z28. Inside, the black bucket-seat interior is complemented by the factory optioned 8,000-RPM tachometer, an especially desirable piece of Z28 instrumentation. Options include the AM/FM radio, console, GM floor mats, A.I.R. smog equipment, and the (still correct) spare & jack assembly. Included is the original Delco Energizer 12 volt battery. Adding to its period-correct presence, the car rides on a set of Firestone F 70x15 Wide Oval tires, giving this Camaro the unmistakable stance and visual character of a proper 1970s performance machine. With only 43,375 miles, an exceptional rotisserie restoration, show-quality presentation, and a formidable combination of LT1 power, 12-bolt Positraction, F-41 suspension and factory 8K tachometer, this is a Z28 built for the enthusiast who appreciates the details. This is a premiere Camaro that looks properly at home parked at a show, but was engineered to be enjoyed from behind the wheel.
