Im not going to deny the outside has seen better days by being through a few ND/MT storms; this is how weve purchased it. HOWEVER this has always given us the edge to be confident to take this base camp where others wouldnt go and stick out the sketchy weather. We have explored all over MN, ND, SD, WY, and MT with this unit most adventures being completely off grid for long weekends.
