This generation escape has proven to be a simple, reliable platform and this is one of the lower mileage examples Ive been able to get in a while. These 4 cylinder engines are the same found in many other ford vehicles and were produced for a long time. This one runs good with no engine codes or major issues. There is a bit of an exhaust leak at the coupler so the exhaust is a little louder than normal. Shifts as it should, rides fine, tires have decent tread, brakes are quiet and work as they should. Has a bit of strut noise from the front when going over larger bumps. Exterior looks presentable for the age. Interior is in good condition with cloth seating and room for 5. Standard equipment including power windows and locks, good working climate control, and microsoft sync capable stereo with bluetooth and aux in. These are great vehicles for a 1st time driver.
