-Combine was fully serviced for 2026, ready to work. Engine was replaced because original had a known issue that should have been fixed under warranty and wasn't.
-The Challenger 540c is the same as a Massey 9540. Class 7, only difference to the class 8 (560c/9560) was horsepower level in ECU. I never felt like this combine lacked power. More cleaning area and faster unloading times than any other class 8 at the time. Huge, full length rotor driven by belt, no hydro. Very fuel efficient and easy to work on. Has DEF, but only needs filling every 3-4 days and never had an issue. You can barely hear the smooth running 7-cylinder SISU engine when you start it with the cab door shut. Has auto greaser. Reversing fan, never need to clean the radiator or air filter in season. I can't say enough good about these combines.
-Ziegler in Ada has all your parts and service covered. I can get parts for this easier than a Deere tractor most days.
9250 40' flex head
-not yet serviced
-good drapers, good sickle and guards
-These heads do a fantasic job. I would recommend having Ziegler run it through the shop only because it's been a couple of years since they've looked at it.
-AGCO trailer kit included (I've never used it)
-Crary header trailer that I modified to work with this header included. High speed trailer, they used it to haul their test headers down interstate. Good tires, lights may need attention.
