We have up to 400 oats bales for sale. Comes out of a first year Alfalfa seeding with the oats as a cover crop. Put up while green at the start of the dough stage. Will have a small amount of pigeon grass and young kochia, but I'd guess 80 percent of the bales are straight oats. We cut it at about 15 inches off the ground with a swather and it wasnt raked. You'll see on the bottom of the test results that there are some nitrates. I was told that we could feed up to 70 percent safely to bred cows. Use your own discretion. I weighed a variety from around the field at 1430 pounds. Full size 569 jd bales with net wrap. Located 15 miles sw of Berthold or 20 miles north of Plaza. $80/bales. We will load.
