18yr Old Quarter Horse Mare

Lily is looking for her new partner. Shes a great horse that has all the buttons. She would beat best be suited for an intermediate to an advanced child but I believe a beginner adult or teen would do fine with her. Lily has impeccable manners. She wont rush you for her food or bombard you looking for treats. She drops her head for her halter and bridle and record your space. Lily loads in a stock, 2horse straight or slant with no problems. Shes very patient and forgiving. Lily does well getting shoes or being trimmed. Ive bathed her and clipped her bridle path with know problem. Lily loves working cattle and will rope and drag calves. I have not done anything such as barrel racing with her but I did take her to a fundamental clinic and she did extremely well. This horse will literally do almost anything you ask of her or at least try. I have taken her trail riding and also riding in indoor and outdoor arenas. She does great in all situations. Shes an easy keeper and does not require any special maintenance but I would suggest a basic joint supplement for support if shes going to be used hard just because of her age. Now like all horses, Lily does have a some quirks. I think the main one would be she can be a little buddy sour when shes not used often. Often meaning once or twice a week. What this mostly entails is calling to her friends. Shes not stupid and tries to take off of anything like that. She mostly just calls. Even if her friend is simply on the other side of the trailer. But the more she gets out the more confident in you she becomes. The other things is sometimes she can be a little hard to catch. Usually it just means seeing you with a halter and going the opposite direction but usually shell stop there and you can catch her just fine. Again, this is something that really isnt existent when shes used and handled regularly. At this point youre probably thinking shes a great horse why would I want to get rid of her. Well, I dont ride very often and she really deserves her own person to love her and spend time with her more than I do and I think she would thrive with that. I do have videos available of her trotting and loping and side passing with my sister who is a beginner and also of her roping and dragging a calf. I am willing to negotiate on price to the right home. Yes this mare is grade but shes literally what everyone wants in a horse so thats reflects her price.
