Class A CDL Driver Wanted

PJ Transport LLC is a small 3 unit trucking company based in Bismarck, ND and I am looking to add another driver. We haul mainly ag products and 80% of the work is in state. A driver located within 20 miles of Bismarck is highly preferred. A driver with hopper bottom or ag related experience is preferred. Looking for someone that will take pride in their work, the truck they drive, and be respectful to all of the farmers/customers we haul products for. Im not looking to temporarily fill the seat, Im looking for someone that is reliable, and looking to be key component of growing a small local business.

Job Requirements:

- Class A CDL

- Must be able to cross state lines

- Must be able to pass a drug test

- Must be able to follow state and federal DOT regulations

- Clean driving record

- Must be able to communicate effectively

Driver pay:

- Starting at 25% of total revenue of the truck. Actual pay varies widely depending on the driver and their willingness to plan ahead and be efficient. Ive had drivers make $1700-$2000 per week but also have had some drivers make $1,000-$1200 per week. Potential for additional hourly pay if you are mechanically inclined and can help with some service or maintenance work on weekends but it is not required.

- Opportunity for higher percentage after 3 months (depending on experience, work ethic and effective communication. I will happily pay higher % for someone who is consistent and understands the needs of the business)

- 1099 pay

- Paid bi-weekly, direct deposit

Mics details:

- I am fairly meticulous about equipment maintenance, you wont be driving junk

- The open truck is the blue 2022 International LT with 13 speed manual, 450hp, 430k miles, fridge, bunk heater, 1500 watt inverter, 73 sleeper, aftermarket LED headlights

- 2018 Wilson 50x96x78 triple axle trailer with super singles, lift axle, aluminum sub frame, aluminum king pin, electric tarp with remote, 2 speed traps

- Light weight truck/trailer combo, 30,500lbs full of fuel

- Company supplied iPad for the truck

- Typically driver gets home an average of 2 nights a week. Some weeks, home every night. Some weeks, out all week. (Assuming home is Bismarck/Mandan)

- Home every weekend except one month in fall and one month in spring.
