CUSHION SPURGE-LEMON YELLOW

Cushion Spurge, beautiful mound-shaped plants, grow to about 12 inches full height and about 15 to 18 inches in diameter.

A very hardy perennial (comes back every year) for our location (Bismarck, ND) plus easy to grow and to maintain.

In spring, the bright green foliage is topped with yellow bracts, (Like having a spot of sunshine in your yard.) rich green in summer and autumn colored in fall.

Likes sun or partial shade and a well-drained soil.

This perennial flower looks much like a bush but is truly a flower and starts over from the ground each year.

It blooms in early spring, about the time of daffodils and tulips, with chartreuse yellow bracts that last for weeks. It is like a ray of sunshine with bright lemon, yellow blossom-like bracts which brighten the garden long before any other perennials are even awake.

DO NOT BE CONFUSED...IT IS NOT THE NOCUOUS WEED...LEAFY SPURGE.

These spurge plants have been dug and potted and are ready to be transplanted to their new homes.
