Diamond willow raw sticks. These were cut in the Missouri River bottoms before the dam flooded the riverbed. Likely taken down in the late 1950's or early 1960's, so they are not "green" and are not in need of drying. Due to their strength, they were used as fenceposts for many years. I salvaged them from the farm and made several walking sticks and wall displays. I added some finished product photos too. Usually, I sand them to get the rough exterior off, then begin grinding and detail sanding. Their color is amazing. I have 59 left now and wish to sell them for someone else to enjoy. The going price is 15 dollars for a raw stick which would be 850 dollars. Mine are not raw, but well dried out, but I'm selling mine for less and the price is for all of them . . .
