Operating and tending machinery and heavy equipment.
Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans.
Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties.
Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites.
operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments.
clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials.
assist other craft workers.
Guthmiller & Son Dirtworks is a local business that is family owned & oriented with over 60 years combined experience in the industry. Very flexible and understanding. We understand how important work life balance is and that is why you will get to be home each night, most weekends off, only work Monday Thursday during winter hours (unless it snows) along with some holidays off and vacation & sick pay. You wont have to worry about being laid off to find another source of income in the winter since our team works a full-time schedule and year-round. On the job training can be done but experience is preferred.
