Skeeter is a 19-year-old gelding that my wife would ride. We've owned him for about 7 years. The equine dentist and veterinarian guesstimated his age. My wife always said Skeeter is the only horse she will ride because she's not a fan of horses. Even though horses make her nervous, she was always willing to ride to be with the family. That should tell you what you need to know regarding Skeeter's temperament. She simply doesn't ride anymore, that's why he's for sale. He has always been a safe trail horse. No spook, just likes to be ridden. He will walk and trot but prefers to just walk at a nice steady pace. He will neck rein. We ride as a family in the Badlands once a year and ride at the family farm. We have not had any health issues in the past or currently. He is barefoot. He will meet you at the gate and truly enjoys being around people. In my group of horses, he is at the bottom when it comes to dominance. He deserves a good friend and a partner.
