Starter/generator voltage regulator

I have setup off a john deere 4010 tractor that I converted to 12v I have starter, generator, Voltage regulator and generator mount all working when removed starter only has 1 season on rebuild also have another reman generator that was put on for prob 10-15 hours before I went to 12v system.
