The Lowrance HDS-5 Lake Insight is a legacy, high-definition GPS chartplotter and fishfinder combo that features a 5-inch screen and is pre-loaded with highly detailed contour maps for thousands of U.S. inland lakes.

Display: 5-inch SolarMAX PLUS display with a 480x480 pixel resolution, designed to remain clear and visible in direct sunlight.

Mapping: Pre-loaded with Lake Insight cartography, offering detailed depth contours (often down to 1-to-3-foot increments) and Fishing Hot Spots Points of Interest (POIs) for U.S. inland waters.

Sonar: Equipped with a built-in Broadband Sounder. Depending on the transducer it is paired with, it operates at 50, 83, or 200 kHz and can reach depths of up to 1,900 feet.

GPS: High-sensitivity 16-channel GPS + WAAS antenna built into the unit, offering high-precision positioning.
