As a part of our Weatherization staff at Community Action, you will work for a confident team that will equip you with the necessary tools and knowledge for a career in Weatherization. This is an entry-level position for people interested in doing weatherization work on homes. Crew members are the people who perform the home upgrades that result in energy savings, including tasks like installing insulation, replacing windows/doors, and more. This is all on the job training, but we do recommend you at least know how to read a tape measure and have some experience working with hand tools. Now that that is out of the way, lets talk money and benefits.

Pay is $20.00 starting and you start accruing PTO right away. Want to know what else you get right away? BENEFITS! Those single plan benefits are paid for by the employer. There is also option for 401k and Aflac.

What about the hours? Glad you asked! Hours are Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 5:30pm year round so that means Fridays off (occasionally will have to work 8 hour days around holidays, but we try to avoid that) and your weekends are FREE!! You also would get major holidays off and paid!
