Accountant (entry level)

Yearly compensation potential of up to $80k (salary plus bonus) depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

- Develops a good working knowledge of the ERP system and Accounting system and the integration of the two.

- Completes day to day accounting entries including but not limited to miscellaneous journal entries, correcting entries, and transfer of machines to the lease and rental fleet.

- Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.

- Back up for the completion of sales tax and federal excise filings.

- Assists with month end adjusting entries and closing.

- Assist with monthly financial statement analysis.

- Coordinate the procurement card process including but not limited to ordering new cards, researching potential fraud transactions, resetting passwords, training, and on-going testing of transactions.

- Validate and process wire transfers or other EFT payments.

- Assists with miscellaneous customer invoicing.

- Answers and discusses day to day questions with the branch locations.

- Involved in preparing audit working papers and tax information.

- Coordinates with A/P for accounts payable check runs.

- Assists others in the department when needed.

- Works within and promotes vision, mission, and values of BMC.

- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting

- 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferred but not required

- Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

- Excellent attention to detail.

- Ability for Analytical review.
