Singer 600 sewing machine for sale. The last all metal drivetrain sewing machine Singer produced. It is the 1st of the Touch and Sew line, subsequent models had some nylon gears which were notorious for failing, hence the moniker "Touch n Throw". The 600 and 600e were the last Singer machines with all metal drive trains. They have a number of onboard decorative stitches and these could be combined with "high hat cams" to produce a huge selection of stitch patterns (included). The "slant shank" foot gives an easily accessible work area. The bobbins are filled through the needle by pressing down an activation switch. After the 600 this switch was located inside the bobbin cover. A large amount of bobbins are also included. Also included is a chainstitch adaptor kit, to my knowledge this was only offered with the 600 series. It does work, I have tried it. I am also including a sewing machine case, it is from another machine but everything fits inside. Also included is a manual I printed off for this machine. It sews well, I have several other slant shank Singers and do not need this one.
