2009 Subaru Impreza

2.5i AWD, 165,000 miles. $3,900 OBO

This has been a great car. Looking to get something that can fit my growing family better, and something a little newer. This car is full of potential and can last many more years.

I'm sorry for the vast amount of info. This is all stuff that I would like to know as a buyer. Here's a summary:

-Automatic, AWD. Clean title in hand. Hazen, ND. Well maintained but needs some repairs, so it's priced for a DIY buyer or mechanic.

- Most of the miles are highway miles, driving to and from college, and running to work and back.

- Currently my daily car for work, so miles slowly are going up

Maintenance

- Timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, and plug wires replaced at 110,000 miles. Alternator and steering pump belt replaced about 20,000 miles ago.

- Front and rear differential oil replaced at 140,000 miles

- Full synthetic oil changes every 5,000 miles

-Transmission fluid changed 800 miles ago with Subaru ATF

-New air filter every other oil change

-Tires in good shape, spare and jack included

- Screw-in tow hook included

- Heat works great

- No overheating or coolant loss

Upgrades

- Pioneer touchscreen radio with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and HDMI input

-Premium aftermarket sound system: four 65W Kicker 2-way speakers, two 10" 800W Sony subs, and a 1000W sub on an 80A DC breaker

-USB charging ports on both sides of the center console and in the armrest, plus stereo USB and HDMI ports on the console

- Aftermarket LED low and high beam headlights

- Aftermarket remote start with two key fobs. One is a two-way (in a little rough shape), and the other is a one-way

- Two keys plus one OEM key fob

- Block heater and battery maintainer installed. They both are wired up to a waterproof plug in the front bumper.

Winter performance

- Does amazing in the winter. It can drive where some pickups can't.

Known issues (full disclosure)

- Oil leak: Appears to be both head gaskets seeping externally. It loses about 1 qt every 2,000 miles. The oil drips onto the exhaust heat shields, so there's a slight burning-oil smell after long idling.

- A/C: Compressor is seized, so no A/C.

- Front right CV axle: Rattles. A brand-new replacement axle is included with the sale.

- Driver's seat is tore. I put CAT seat covers in to help, but the driver seat cover also tore.

- Body damage: Front left and rear left corners, including a cracked rear bumper and a front bumper cover repaired with plastic stitching (see photos).

- Mirror: Chipped edge on the mirror housing.

-TPMS: The tire pressure sensors are dead, so the TPMS light stays on.

- Rust: Minor rust on the front and rear edge of the hood, and along the seam of the RR quarter panel and bumper cover. No rust underneath.

- Washer fluid tank: Cracked, holds about 1/3 capacity.

- Battery was put in this spring

- Alternator may be weak. It charges at about 13.2v, and the battery seems weak when starting sometimes. Might not be getting charged to it's full capacity.

- Potentially has a parasitic load. Car battery will die after sitting for a little over a week. Haven't troubleshot this yet either.

Call, text, or message. Test drives welcome with a valid license. I can send more photos on request.
