2020 Buckskin Leopard Appaloosa Gelding

KR Makis Buckaroo "Roo" is approx 15H, sired by DREA Chewelah Celilo and out of BCAP Cheyenne Maki. He was born on May 16, 2020 and is registered with ApHC. He is also eligible for Colorado Ranger Horse Assoc. registry. Roo was raised in a 180 acre pasture with wooded hills, open meadows and brushy creek bottoms. He shared that pasture with 5 half siblings, mares and a stallion until weaning at 6 months of age. Roo was started under saddle as a 2 year old with Josh Bilbrey for 60 days late fall/early winter of 2022. As a 3 year old, he was ridden lightly late summer through fall on the ranch. Roo leads, easy to catch, ties, loads. UTD as of 3/22/2024 on trim, deworming and 3 way + W. Nile. He is ready for more riding as a coming 4 year old and has the potential to be an terrific ranch horse, trail/mountain horse, endurance, ranch riding competition and other disciplines.
