Jersey/Charolais Cross Milk Cow. Gail is 5 years old and just had her 4th calf. She was bred to our full-blooded Jersey Bull. So her heifer calf is 3/4 jersey. She is very friendly and willingly comes in for her grain. Raises big calves. We have always hand milked, but her previous owner only used the machine. We calf-share the milk, so we dont know her full potential, but at her peak last year we would get well over a gallon. She is used to kids, cats, dogs, and chickens. She is a great cow, but we need to downsize our herd.
