FOR SALE: John Deere 331 30ft tandem disk. The disk has a lot of cracks in it, but I just wire welded them each year when I needed the disk. The disks are wore out, but they worked good enough for me each year to kill weeds before seeding in the crop. One of the flip down spacers on the hyd. cylinder for preventing the machine from settling during transport down the highway is bent, but you could bring some hyd. clip on spacers from your chisel plow or air seeder to use instead. I only have one wheel on each of the 4 tandems and I know that at least one of the wheels on the wings has a wobbly wheel bearing. I don't know how the wheel bearings are on the highway travel tandems. I have the 4 missing wheels off of it in the shed. The wings and implement lift good, but hte wing cylinders have major scratch marks in them, so I always disconnect those 2 hyd. hoses after transport, or else it vampires the hyd. oil out of the tractor. One of the main lift hyd. hoses has a pin hole in it about 6 inches from the pioneer hyd coupler. It uses 11L-15 implement tires. I'm not sure what model it is, but from the decals it looks like it might be a 331 model. The machine is wore out and I bought it that way and it still gets the job done for spring tillage and it's cheap. $2,500 CASH. My 275 H.P. JD 8640 pulls it at 5 mph and can get 160 acres done in a day. My Versatile 895 that is 310 HP pulls it at 7 mph. Manning, ND. Calls only. I don't do texting.
