Sweet, kind and gentle. Loves a good brush and attention. Daisy is 29 years young. She is in good health. Up to date on her vaccinations and dewormer and farrier trims. Her speeds are walk and trot. An occasional gallop if she is at the far end of the pasture and it is feeding time! Daisy winters well. We only blanket her when it is below zero temps. The grandkids ride her bareback or with a saddle, bridle or halter.
We are willing to let Daisy go to a good home for no cost. Teeth floatings have confirmed that her teeth are wearing down with age, which isn't uncommon. Daisy requires soft food twice a day. Understand that there will be a monthly cost for her feed to keep her going and thriving. (Active Senior feed pellets, alfalfa pellets, beet pulp shreds, loose minerals and oil). We will send what feed we have left, oil and feed tubs to get the new owners started. Daisy will also graze on grass and hay, but that is not enough.
Reason for finding new owners: Grandkids are starting to outgrow her. We have retired and plan on traveling and spending more time with family.
