Stella is a 2024 AQHA palomino mare sired by Oaks Jule Star, a son of Soula Jule Star (LTE: $129,346; sire of $1.2M+), by Grays Starlight, and out of Oaks Little Sis, a daughter of Docs Oak with Smart Little Lena breeding.

On the bottom side, she is out of a daughter of Xtra Shiney Wimp, by the legendary Wimpys Little Step (LTE: $185,757; $13M+ sire) and out of Sparkling Radiance (LTE: $34,509), a daughter of Shining Spark, crossed on a Cats Dun Magic mare.

This is the kind of pedigree that makes sense when you watch her. She has the look, the brain, and the natural try you hope to see in a young prospect. She has already had approximately 45 days of groundwork before being started under saddle by a professional reined cow horse trainer. She now has roughly 60 days of riding and has been brought along the right way. She was started slowly, fairly, and with a good foundation underneath her.

She has no funny business to her: no buck, no rear, no running off, and no weird quirks. She saddles up out of a boxstall on full alfalfa, and rides off like she is 10 years her senior. She knows her leads, breaks at the poll, rides around low headed, and already shows she wants to stop .

She is willing, soft minded, and genuinely wants to understand what is being asked of her. She is not one that wakes up looking for an argument. She tries hard, learns quickly, and has the kind of attitude that makes you want to keep investing time into her.

First off, this mare is every bit as sweet as she is pretty. On the ground, she may be even sweeter. This mare is sweet, sweet, sweet. She loves people, enjoys attention, and has that in-your-pocket personality everyone says they want but rarely finds in a young horse. She is absolutely gorgeous on top of it: pretty palomino color, feminine, kind eyed, and the type that is only going to get prettier as she continues to mature.

Whether you are looking for a reined cow horse prospect, ranch riding prospect, ranch versatility horse, or simply a beautifully bred young mare to continue bringing along your own way, Stella has all the right pieces. She has the pedigree, the professional start, the disposition, and the try to go on and be something special.

Young mares with this much kindness, this kind of foundation, and these names stacked throughout their papers are getting harder and harder to find. Stella is the kind you will be proud to own now and even more excited to see a year from now.
