Looks military to me. Like it came out of a time capsule. I don't even want to open it. I haven't even peeled off the fiber tape. I can see a drawing number in the barrel channel that looks military. This isn't a CMP stock and it sure doesn't look like a Boyd's stock either. My educated guess is post war USGI replacement stock set, walnut. You probably haven't had a chance at one of these before, and there are none like it on ebay. I just got done searching. Rare opportunity to jazz up your M1 Garand proper and at a great price.
