North Dakota souvenir dollars are commemorative trade tokens issued between 1971 and 1980 to mark the states history, themes, and milestones. They were not legal tender and were produced by the Lombardo Mint in Canada. The 2 sets are #647. In the first set, each coin has a native American silhouette on the front and a North Dakota scene or native animal on the obverse. The set contains 10 regular coins, a 1972 error, and a special copper medallion. The coins are set in an acrylic holder. Cash only.
