This set of decorative thimbles contains 8 women representing various stages of fashion. The boxes contain an explanation of fashion in 1890, 1900, 1923, 1927, 1928, 1938, 1942, & 1947. The rack can be hung on the wall or set on a shelf to display the beautiful thimble designs. The set was sold in the 1980's. The display rack and each thimble is still in its original box, and each thimble has a small flannel pouch. The set was displayed in a smoke-free home and is in excellent condition.
