Education Coordinator - Early Childhood

This person will lead and oversee the classroom teaching staff in implementing the Head Start Performance Standards, Creative Curriculum, Conscious Discipline, and conduct classroom assessments. This person is instrumental in hiring and training new education staff.

DETAILS:

10 months, 40 hours/week. Work from early August to mid June.

Pay is $55,704/year

Must have valid driver's license.

Full benefits available including plans for single, single + dependents, and family. Head Start pays over 80% of health insurance premium and 50% of dental and vision insurance premiums.

Requires:

--Baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education; or baccalaureate degree equivalent to a major relating to ECE with experience teaching preschool children

--Great organization

--Strong leadership skills

--Knowledgeable about early child development

--Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing environments, and

--Strong communication and interpersonal skills

--Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
