Neighborhood HOA pissing you off? City/county Zoning committee starting to get a little too big for their britches? Did the 2004 events of Granby Colorado inspire you in ways that we cant speak about on a public platform? Then this loader is for you, while it may not be a Komatsu D355A, it can be up armored easily, and level a city block in 7 mins flat. Or load trucks in a gravel pit daily, whatever you prefer.
This Loader, to the best of my knowledge is a Terex 71-72, while I am unsure of the model split it could be a A or B model. The power plant is a Detroit 8v92, which from my research should place it as a B model. The engine runs strong, and has some recent head, turbo, and intake work performed. Batteries have been recently replaced, and the machine starts and runs very well. Transmission was completely rebuilt by DMI of Sioux falls SD in the mid 2000s, shifts well and locks up hard, was worth every penny the $21,000 spent on it. Brake linings were rebuilt by Motion and Friction of Gilette Wyoming while the trans was rebuilt, for a 80,000Lb machine it stops like a dam sports car. Tires are in decent shape, maintain air, and havent failed me yet.
This is a decent old loader, I wont blow smoke up your @$$, its a dinosaur by todays standards, it lived its life in gravel pits and came home in the winter to move for maintenance or material in bulk. It runs strong, pulls hard, and will make sure everyone within miles knows about it. This was my grandfathers pride for years, and I may absolutely have a butt kicking when I make it to the afterlife for selling it, but I just do not need something this big anymore. Give me a call with questions, or a text, whatever works. I have haulers in my area that can LEGALLY haul should you need it. Come take a peak at in person please.
