This is a 1958 Chevy Apache body on a 1971 Chevy Blazer chassis and drivetrain. It is a 3-speed manual transmission with a Low gear. It has 4x4 hi/lo. It has a Chevy 350 engine. I installed a new manual choke Edelbrock carburetor, new fuel tank and fuel lines, new lift blocks on the rear, new steering wheel, and battery about 1 1/2 years ago. It starts right up and runs just fine. All the lights and turn signals work. It has a nice sounding Flo master exhaust.
You can start it up and drive it legally on the road. I like to drive it to work in the summer time. The overall condition I would say is in good shape.
For the cons: needs new wiper blades, heater doesn't function (I believe the control cables just need to be reattached to the heater), speedometer doesn't function, could use new shocks, and the apparent bondo cracks on the body. The paint still looks really nice and there doesn't appear to be much body rust.
Extra parts that come with: I have the old Edelbrock electric choke carburetor and the thermostat control module.
Due to the nature of the truck the mileage is unknown. The clean title has odometer mileage exempt.
