2006 FORD ESCAPE

These older Escapes are simple dependable vehicles and this is one of the nicer examples Ive seen in quite some time. Its clean and straight and looks excellent inside and out. Theres no rust even on the fenderwells or strut towers which is very common on these. Previous owner was very meticulous with service and repairs and kept a detailed log as well as a dedicated spreadsheet - and the condition of the vehicle reflects that level of care. The vehicle is priced where is is because it is high mileage, and has a previous salvage title due to minor damage that just required replacement of the front bumper but was enough to total the vehicle according to insurance. It runs and drives great with no warning lights or issues. This has the 3.0L Duratec V6, automatic transmission, full time 4wd, and is showing 293k miles. You would never guess the miles on the vehicle from the condition, and Id wager it will still outlive comparable vehicles with half the mileage if the next owner cares for it as well as the previous one. This was the top trim for the day which didnt add a ton but did give power heated leather seating, power sunroof, and roof rack. A block heater has been installed, and the BFG All season tires have good tread all the way around so it's ready for winter.
