A bit of history: The all-conquering gold medalist, Monark was a force to contend with in European motocross racing, and the 125MX was a legendary machine. Not only was it the most beautiful production racer in the industry, but these models simply dominated off-road and ISDT competition from 1970-72. The Monark team of eight riders also won eight gold medals that year in the 1970 ISDT, racking up a total of 47 gold medals by the 1972 season using the 125MX model as seen here.
