Cigar is a truly rare find! Raised on a working cattle ranch near Solen, North Dakota, he has spent his life navigating rugged, Badlands-style terrain. He is a natural "go-getter" who absolutely shines when it comes to chasing, rounding, and sorting cows. He's not papered, just a big beautiful amazing horse.

While Cigar is incredibly sweet and safe, he is not a deadhead. He has an excellent motor, loves to work, and possesses incredible speed whenever you ask it of him. Anyone who knows how to rein can easily ride and enjoy him, but he is best suited for a rider who appreciates a horse with a dedicated work ethic.

Ground Manners & Temperament: Rock-Solid

Ground Tie: Cigar will stand still while tacking up. Even if you walk away, he stays right where you leave him! This is an invaluable asset out in the pasture when you need to dismount and open gates, fix fence or tag calves.

Excellent Loader: He trailers beautifully and hauls great.

Safe & Sane: He has a very sweet temperament. He does not buck, bite, spook easily, or exhibit any dangerous behaviors.

Health & Soundness: 100% Sound: Never been lame

Great Feet: Strong, healthy hooves but is sensitive to walking on gravel or rocky ground. Has never been shod but that would be a good idea if you travel a great deal over rocks or gravel.

Maintenance-Free: No health issues or current maintenance required.
