We are looking for a dependable Rigging Production Worker to join our team. In this role, you won't just be pushing buttons on an assembly lineyou will be hands-on, fabricating and assembling wire rope slings and alloy chain assemblies. What You'll Do
Fabricate and assemble a variety of custom rigging hardware, including wire rope, chain, and synthetic web slings.
Operate specialized shop tools such as swaging machines, industrial cutters, and pull-testing equipment.
Measure and cut materials with high accuracy, ensuring all custom configurations match strict customer orders and specifications.
Perform quality checks on finished goods to identify and report any defects.
Load and unload raw materials and finished items, using warehouse equipment.
Package and label completed work orders, load/unload delivery shipments, and help maintain an organized, safe, clean shop.
Collaborate with team members to hit daily production goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Prior mechanical aptitude or shop experience (e.g., fabrication, welding, construction, or manufacturing) is highly preferred
Great attention to detail; because our products hold heavy loads, safety and quality precision are absolutely non-negotiable.
Punctuality and teamwork; as a small local team, we rely heavily on each other to keep production running smoothly.
Strong math and measuring skills; you must be comfortable reading tape measures and working accurately with fractions and specifications.
Operate Equipment including but not limited to forklift and a 500 ton press.
Reliable transportation and a strong track record of punctuality.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, bend, twist, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the day.
Strength to regularly lift, pull, and maneuver heavy materials, cable and chains.
Comfort working in a dynamic shop environment with noise and machinery.
