* Job Summary

* We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers (hopper) to transport feed/grain efficiently across various routes. Mainly in Eastern Montana and Western N Dakota. Occasionally traveling into South Dakota and sometimes Wyoming.

* Must Pass Pre-Employment Drug Screening and also be willing to be subjected to Random Drug Tests

* Must have clean driving record

Duties

* Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations

* Load and unload freight to/from hopper bottom trailer

* Transport feed, grain, seed from feed mill to farms/ranches and also grain transport from farm to elevator/feed mill

* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to identify maintenance needs or safety issues

* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues during transit

* Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, load details, and vehicle inspections in compliance with federal and state regulations

Experience

* Valid CDL A license with proven experience

* Demonstrated ability to load & unload freight safely

* Prior experience working in agricultural setting is a plus as well as possessing some mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance

* Comfortable driving manual transmission trucks over long distances and through diverse road conditions

* Ability to neatly fill out Bill-of-Ladings for each load hauled
