Solo is an approximate 16 H, 9 year old AQHA grullo gelding. AQHA papers are shown but we do not have the papers to transfer registration. He is branded.

Solo is a rescue horse that we received as an owner surrender a little over 2 years ago. Solo came to us lame on his front. We were told that he got into foxtail and had gotten an infection in his mouth and then became lame. We took him to the vet and had xrays taken which we will gladly share. Solo did have an abscess that blew out in both fronts and had some laminitis. We did have him tested to be sure and he tested positive for EMS. There is a medication that he can be placed on, but we have chosen to manage his diet for now as once he starts the medication he should remain on it.

Solo has recovered and no longer limps and we continue to trim as his hooves grow out. Hes basically been living a good life in the pasture while recovering and ensuring he is not going to go lame again and hes done well here and is ready for his new home.

Solo is big and beautiful and sweet and ready for someone to start working with him and make him a good using horse as long as they are ready to manage his EMS with diet/medication if needed.

An adoption application for Solo will be required.
