Four year old Percheron Gelding

Jake stands a solid 18 hands high and is a longer bodied style. Jake had a partner but he wasn't working out for us so I sold him with the plan to find Jake a new partner. Recently my husband has decided he wants a shorter team so unfortunately, Jake needs new digs.

Jake drives double, unsure if he drives single. Probably wouldn't be hard for someone with experience to get him going. Jake is trimmed in a stock and is familiar with having an angle grinder used in the trimming. He is easy to catch, harness, load, crosses water, can pick up all four feet...just an all around easy going guy. I can fly spray Jake without catching him.

This horse has quite the personality. If you want a draft horse that you can love on and who enjoys the attention, Jake is your guy. I absolutely adore this horse. His demeanor and personality make him an amazing horse to be around. If I had the money and hay he wouldn't be going anywhere.

I have not had any soundness or health issues with Jake and purchased him February of 2025 in Kalona, Iowa. He and his partner were Amish raised and trained.
